Fullstack Software Engineer (.Net and React)

About the role

Join Diligent’s AI‑driven product team in Budapest to build high‑impact features using modern .Net and React stacks, while leveraging cutting‑edge AI development assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Drive product features end‑to‑end, implementing responsive UI improvements and integrating them with APIs and backend services.
• Leverage AI‑powered coding assistants and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery, prototype quickly, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Review, debug, and refactor AI‑generated code to ensure architectural soundness, security, and test coverage.
• Collaborate with product designers, managers and engineers in cross‑functional squads using an agile cadence.
• Champion clean‑code practices, participate in code reviews and optimise client‑side performance.

Required profile

• Professional experience building modern, responsive web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript and component‑based frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Comfortable working with backend services, RESTful APIs and data models to ship complete features.
• Hands‑on experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Windsurf.
• Strong ability to audit, debug and refactor generated code for performance and architectural coherence.
• Product‑first mindset, good communication skills and willingness to work with a Budapest‑based team.
