German-Speaking Automotive Helpdesk Support

About the role

MSX International supports vehicle manufacturers, retailers and mobility organisations worldwide, covering sales performance, repair optimisation and compliance, parts sales and consumer engagement. It is looking for a German-speaking Technical Helpdesk Support to join its team that advises retailers and independent workshops on diagnostics and repairs. The role provides expert technical support to a network of authorised repairers and independent operators across Europe, answering inquiries by phone and electronically.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support across various systems, focusing on diagnostics and root cause analysis.
• Resolve technical inquiries from customer dealers and internal teams.
• Guide dealers through repair processes and ensure accurate case documentation.
• Collaborate with dealer technicians and internal agents to solve complex technical issues.
• Document cases and technical data in internal systems and coordinate Field Engineer visits.
• Take part in training and product knowledge exchange, and share insights and trends with engineers, project managers and dealership staff.
• Occasionally conduct vehicle testing and servicing arrangements.
• Escalate cases when necessary, including all relevant information, and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of automotive experience, ideally in a senior dealership workshop role.
• Degree in automotive technology or equivalent technical education.
• Fluency in German and English is absolutely required.
• Analytical, organised and customer-focused mindset.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics; EVHV certification (e.g. HV EV Specialist / DGUV L2+ / IMI Level 4) is a strong advantage.
• Experience using diagnostic tools.
• A general automotive diagnostics competence test or evaluation is part of the recruitment process.
