GL Senior Accountant

About the role

As a GL Senior Accountant you will own the accounting and tax operations of a newly created Hungarian legal entity within the Bosch Group. You will work closely with local finance, controlling, external auditors, Hungarian authorities and the global services organization to ensure accurate, compliant financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Take responsibility for General Ledger accounting and chief accountant activities for the new entity, ensuring timely and compliant financial processing.
• Coordinate and support tax‑related activities, statutory accounting requirements and reporting obligations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the preparation and go‑live of entity‑specific accounting processes and maintain stable financial operations after implementation.
• Act as a GL Key User for SAP S/4HANA, handling system‑related topics, testing, issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular financial forecasts, reports and management information for business decisions.
• Provide financial data to Controlling for forecasts, business planning and year‑end closing.
• Coordinate the preparation of annual financial statements and related materials for supervisory board meetings.
• Support external audits throughout the year, coordinating required documentation and information.
• Deliver expert accounting support to local stakeholders and international service teams.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports for Hungarian authorities and manage bank‑related activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in General Ledger accounting and chief accountant functions.
• Hands‑on experience with tax compliance and statutory reporting in Hungary.
• Experience participating in finance transformation projects and system implementations.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external auditors.
