Hardware Project Manager – Automotive

About the role

As a Hardware Project Manager at Bosch, you will lead hardware development within complex automotive projects, ensuring seamless collaboration across mechanics, software and other engineering domains. You will drive projects from concept through implementation, representing hardware interests in internal and external negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Represent hardware development in meetings and negotiations.
• Maintain regular communication and alignment with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead 8D problem‑solving teams.
• Define and monitor project timelines, resources, budgets and technical specifications.
• Coordinate and track project changes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Establish, deploy and monitor hardware requirements.
• Prepare risk assessments and mitigation strategies for senior management and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a related field.
• Experience in automotive hardware development.
• Proven project‑management experience with responsibility for timeline, budget and resource coordination.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
