International Pensions Advisor

About the role

Diageo, the world's leading premium drinks company, is looking for an International Pensions Advisor based in Budapest on a permanent basis. The role supports the management, governance and delivery of international pension arrangements across multiple markets, providing technical expertise, project support and operational oversight so that pension plans are delivered efficiently, comply with regulations and fit the organisation's global pensions strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support the governance of international pension arrangements by coordinating governance activities, monitoring regulatory developments, keeping documentation and ensuring compliance with local requirements and company policies.
• Partner with vendors, GBO and market stakeholders to meet service delivery standards and resolve issues effectively.
• Assist in monitoring pension funding positions, accounting disclosures and key risk metrics.
• Prepare analysis and reporting to support the Head of International Pensions and the Global Pensions and Benefits Director.
• Routine pension administration, workflow execution and case processing sit with GBO, providers or automation wherever possible.

Required profile

• Fluency in English.
• 4-6 years of international pensions technical and operational management experience.
• Experience working with vendors or shared services environments.
• Understanding of international pensions governance and risk, and process improvement.
• An actuarial background is desirable but not crucial.
