Sales Incentive Compensation Intern (SIC)

About the role

As a Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) Intern, you will support the Sales Incentive team in achieving its goals through data analysis, reporting, dashboard creation and administration of incentive compensation programs. You will work with large datasets, generate insights, maintain incentive recipient information and contribute to process improvement initiatives. The role offers exposure to a wide range of activities throughout the year and suits someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with data and able to learn new tools quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end planning, validation, calculation and payment of sales incentive compensation for assigned recipients.
• Support continuous improvement of sales incentive processes, tools, automation and data quality.
• Monitor process performance and propose enhancements to improve effectiveness and stakeholder experience.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualizations.
• Explore and apply AI tools and solutions to improve reporting, analytics and recurring SIC processes.
• Maintain and improve SIC reports, dashboards and supporting documentation.
• Carry out special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Active university student, preferably in business, finance, economics, data analytics, information technology or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Interest in automation, data analytics, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
• Comfortable learning new systems and working with large datasets.
• Highly structured, detail-oriented, proactive and eager to learn.
• Comfortable working in matrixed organizations with Commercial, Finance and HR stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Power BI knowledge is a plus.
