Lead Consultant / Project Manager – Quality Cloud

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a senior Lead Consultant / Project Manager to drive the implementation of its Quality Cloud suite for enterprise life‑science customers. You will lead a high‑energy team, act as the primary liaison with the client, and ensure successful delivery of multi‑year, global projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a key enterprise customer in the IT operations and implementation of Veeva Quality Cloud suite.
• Manage a multi‑year, multi‑phased global implementation program, including resource planning, team leadership, project tracking and forecasting.
• Act as the primary customer liaison, coordinating communication between the project team, the client and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee customer release management programs and IT operations for the Quality Cloud suite.
• Analyze customer requirements and new product features to develop adoption and enhancement roadmaps.
• Mentor project teams and junior consultants within the Quality Services organization.
• Guide customers in adopting Quality Cloud best practices and continuous improvement post‑implementation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in IT project management, consulting or product management with a proven record of leading system implementations.
• Experience leading large‑scale enterprise projects and designing effective governance models.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong technical affinity and hands‑on experience with software implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging senior‑level stakeholders.
• Good understanding of SaaS and GxP principles.
• Willingness to travel 25‑50% and legal authorization to work in the EU.

Required skills

• Experience with eContent Management systems such as Veeva Vault, TrackWise, OpenText, SharePoint, Documentum, MasterControl, EtQ, FirstDoc/FirstPoint, NextDocs.
• Familiarity with Life Sciences Quality, Clinical, Regulatory or Drug Safety domains.
• PMP, Prince2 or Agile Scrum Master certification.
• Agile methodology and change‑management experience.
• Experience with PMO organizations.
