Loss Prevention Specialist – German Speaker

About the role

Avis Budget Group is looking for a Loss Prevention Specialist in Budapest who speaks German. The role combines operational case management, problem solving and stakeholder communication in a fast-paced international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage rental extension requests for short-term and long-term rentals.
• Investigate and resolve overdue rental cases so rental agreements stay accurate and up to date.
• Contact drivers and corporate customers proactively to collect information such as mileage readings and secure rental extensions.
• Coordinate with rental stations and internal stakeholders to support business continuity and fleet utilization.
• Maintain case information in internal systems, Excel files and SharePoint.
• Handle case-related communication by phone and email with customers, partners and internal teams.
• Gather information from multiple systems and databases to support decisions and case resolution.
• Ensure accurate administration and documentation of all activities, and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Advanced German and English, written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage several cases and priorities in a fast pace.
• Proactive, responsible and collaborative attitude.
