Machining Workshop Technician

About the role

Jabil, a manufacturer of engineering, supply chain and manufacturing solutions, is looking for a machining workshop technician in Tiszaujvaros. The role covers the operation of machine and hand tools, the production of parts from drawings and CNC programs, assembly and maintenance of equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and handle machine and hand tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, sanders, saws and welding equipment.
• Create machining programs manually for CNC machines.
• Produce parts independently from drawings and CNC programs, using materials and machine time efficiently.
• Measure finished parts and check them against specifications, drawings and instructions.
• Assemble complete structures and sub-assemblies from the produced parts.
• Keep machines, tools, spare parts, raw materials and measuring instruments in order and maintain accurate inventory.
• Support the automation team in design, installation, commissioning and setup.

Required profile

• Machining trade qualification or technical college degree.
• CNC machining and programming qualification.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word).
• Precision, technical aptitude and good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Production experience, higher education and knowledge of CAD/CAM systems are an advantage.
