Mid/Senior Visual Designer

About the role

DEPT, a Growth Invention company, is looking for a versatile Midweight Visual Designer to join its Creative & Media team in Budapest. You will work closely with the Benelux & Nordics teams to create visual campaigns, digital content and visual identities for international clients, collaborating with creatives, strategists and art directors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop visual identities, campaigns and marketing content across digital channels.
• Turn creative concepts and brand guidelines into social ads, digital advertising, presentations and other assets.
• Ideate and develop visual concepts with creatives, strategists and art directors.
• Create and art direct imagery using generative AI and explore AI-driven workflows.
• Apply strong typography, composition and attention to detail.
• Create basic motion and animation where needed.
• Take designs from concept through to final production.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of commercial design experience, ideally in an agency or design studio.
• A strong portfolio covering branding and marketing content.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI and a willingness to experiment with new tools.
• Experience designing for digital channels such as social, display and email.
• Ability to work from scratch as well as within existing brand guidelines.
• Effective collaboration with creatives, strategists, art directors and other designers.
• Professional proficiency in English.

• Generative AI tools

• Creative automation, HTML5 display development, 3D design, illustration, print design and production.
