Operations Lead - Harvest Team

About the role

The Operations Lead leads the Harvest team within the Service Repair Operations (SRO) organization, responsible for recovering high-value components from de-installed diagnostic imaging systems such as CT, MR and X-Ray equipment. The role combines people leadership, daily operations management and continuous improvement, supporting GE HealthCare's circularity and sustainability strategy. It is based in Páty, Hungary, with an onsite requirement of 5 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team, building a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement and continuous improvement
• Manage daily operations safely, compliantly and efficiently, and lead Compliance, Quality and EHS efforts
• Train staff, coach and plan succession
• Track system deinstallation planning across Europe and coordinate with Sales and Service teams
• Work with Asset Recovery teams to find opportunities for Harvest activities and partner with Field Service Engineers on testing and test reports
• Provide delivery forecasts and operational visibility to Harvest Operations leadership
• Drive Lean implementation and continuous improvement, balancing daily priorities with longer-term planning and strategy

Required profile

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience and knowledge
• Advanced level of English
• Proven experience leading and developing teams in an operational environment
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills, including stakeholder management and the ability to give constructive challenge

Required skills

• Practical Lean experience with a strong continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to balance day-to-day operations with longer-term planning and organizational improvement
