Operations Project Manager III

About the role

Jabil is looking for an Operations Project Manager III in Tiszaujvaros. The role leads strategic initiatives for a defined customer (internal or external) or user, guides multi-functional project teams, manages customer relationships and takes full accountability for project schedules, project management and performance on enterprise-level projects.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, understand and translate project requirements and objectives into executable plans
• Build the project team and align it to customer needs through milestones, goals and objectives
• Collaborate with customers from requirements gathering through acceptance or approval, acting as interface with customers, vendors, stakeholders and sponsors
• Review project schedules with functional project managers and coordinators, and drive the project to completion on schedule
• Manage project plans, KPIs, resource capacity and time tracking, and coordinate an integrated project plan with risk analysis and mitigation actions
• Take part in cost management, including capital expenditure requests, travel, training and resource allocation
• Report project status, issues, variances and corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement through trend reporting
• Identify cost-saving improvements by streamlining processes and systems

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain Management or Engineering)
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience and minimum 2 years of project management or related experience, or an equivalent combination
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (engineering, test, quality, planning, materials, etc.) and prior customer interface experience
• Automotive or medical background experience required
• PMP certification desirable; knowledge of the organization's policies, culture and Jabil's operations required
