Payroll, Time & Benefits Senior Specialist

About the role

The Payroll, Time & Benefits Senior Specialist joins Roche's People Support Solutions team to deliver accurate payroll, tax, social insurance, time and benefits administration. The role ensures compliance, provides expert customer service and contributes to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Execute system data maintenance and administrative activities for payroll, tax, social insurance, time and benefits processes.
• Provide customer service, resolve inquiries, manage requests and troubleshoot pay, time and benefits issues.
• Manage, process and reconcile mass upload files and monitor data flows between Workday and vendors.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and meet defined KPIs and ServiceNow OKRs.
• Act as expert contact for complex payroll inquiries and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years of experience in payroll services, preferably in a shared service centre.
• Strong knowledge of payroll cycles, benefits operations, local tax and social insurance, and Workday P&C processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability and strong communication skills in English and Hungarian.
• Customer‑centric mindset, end‑to‑end accountability, problem‑solving orientation and growth mindset.

Required skills

• Workday payroll and time‑keeping modules.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, V‑lookup).
