About the role
Join Bosch's automotive electronics team in Budapest to design and maintain PCB footprint libraries that support cutting‑edge self‑driving car technologies. You will work closely with circuit, mechanical, and technology development teams across Hungary and internationally.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement footprints for SMD and through‑hole components.
- Maintain and expand the PCB footprint library used in global automotive products.
- Support layout‑related technology integration with Hungarian and international development partners.
Required profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Proven experience in PCB layout and footprint design.
- Basic understanding of electronic and mechanical engineering concepts.
- Strong analytical mindset and excellent English communication skills.
Required skills
- CAD tools such as OrCAD, Altium, Eagle, AutoCAD.
- Footprint creation for SMD and through‑hole components.
- Programming knowledge (databases, web, C++).
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and SMT technology.
