Product Cost Controller

About the role

As a Product Cost Controller at Bosch, you will ensure cost transparency across the product lifecycle and support strategic business decisions. You will work closely with Project Purchasing, Plant Controlling, and various internal committees to drive cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare business case calculations using a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach for cost‑reduction and second‑source initiatives.
• Track financial performance of lead types (CF02, CF05, CF09) and support year‑end closing activities.
• Align material (MAT) and value‑added (VA) RPP measures, as well as FX and RMI data, with purchasing and controlling functions.
• Consolidate data, create PPC bridges, and highlight key cost drivers and deviations (CF vs. TBP).
• Analyse PPC status and EBIT expectations, and present findings in steering committees.
• Produce monthly reports on RPP target achievement and PPC status.
• Support MAE planning, budgeting in MCR, and investment tracking activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in controlling.
• Strong analytical mindset and structured way of working.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Financial reporting proficiency.
