Product Stewardship Specialist

About the role

Veolia Water Hungary Ltd., a membrane technology manufacturer of drinking water and industrial wastewater treatment equipment, is hiring a Product Stewardship Specialist for its Oroszlány factory. The specialist leads ZeeWeed membrane certifications and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to drinking water, food contact, Kosher/Halal and US EPA Pesticide Device standards, and works with R&D, manufacturing, legal and supply chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee drinking water certification programs (NSF, DWI, ACS, KTW, KIWA, ICIM, NNGYK) for ZeeWeed membranes, including applications, renewals and status maintenance
• Maintain regulatory compliance listings and approvals for food contact and drinking water components
• Manage food contact and religious (Halal/Kosher) certifications and support regional regulatory teams
• Support US EPA Pesticide Device compliance, including label documentation and annual establishment reporting
• Audit Quality Master Data, recipes and bills of materials, and review quality specifications and raw material documentation
• Evaluate supplier data and lead change management for certified products, including material substitutions and new material rollouts
• Coordinate regulatory testing programs and manage internal and external audits, driving corrective and preventative actions
• Collaborate with manufacturing and R&D on new material launches, produce compliance training materials and support regulatory software and digitisation initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of industrial experience in product stewardship, regulatory compliance or quality assurance in manufacturing
• Knowledge of third-party certification standards (NSF, DWI UK, ACS, KTW, KIWA, Kosher, Halal)
• Fluent English; Hungarian is a plus

• Expertise in drinking water and food contact regulatory requirements
• Experience with ISO-based quality management systems
• BOM/recipe administration and manufacturing change control
• Project management and ability to handle multiple projects
• Working knowledge of regulatory management platforms
