Sales Engineer - Industrial Process Cooling Solutions

About the role

Trane Hungary is looking for a driven, results-oriented Sales Engineer for its industrial process-cooling segment. The role focuses on building trusted customer relationships, growing account share and maximising retention among building owner accounts. Work is split between direct customer engagement and collaboration with colleagues in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and consultation on sustainable industrial process cooling solutions, including financial and performance-based considerations.
• Identify customer needs and current market opportunities.
• Convert leads into opportunities by applying the right sales process, defining requirements and setting out the next steps.
• Develop and run an account-specific business plan to secure long-term, profitable partnerships.
• Support customers with technical questions and relevant industry issues.
• Work with the Country Sales Leader Hungary to grow the industrial cooling business in the marketplace.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Previous experience in B2B sales.
• Nice to have: knowledge of industrial refrigeration or industrial process cooling, or experience selling products for production lines (e.g. compressed air, pneumatic industrial machines).
• Fluent Hungarian and at least communicative English.
• Willingness and ability to travel around Hungary; office based in Budapest.
