Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Java)

About the role

Join our dynamic Vault Platform team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, where you will ensure the scalability and reliability of Veeva’s enterprise applications serving hundreds of global life‑science customers.

Key responsibilities

• Rapidly build new cloud infrastructure from scratch following software development best practices.
• Lead incident triage and mitigation, including on‑call duties for critical escalations.
• Develop automation tools to eliminate manual work and shorten issue resolution times.
• Provide full‑stack diagnostics, root‑cause analysis, and strategic guidance for features supporting over 2 million users.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Java development experience, preferably in enterprise cloud software.
• Hands‑on operational experience in high‑volume production environments, including incident management.
• Proven ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code in collaborative teams.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills, with a track record of guiding peers.
