Staff/Principal Product Engineer – AI‑Native Builder

About the role

Traditional engineering roles give you a task; this role gives you a problem and a fleet of AI agents to solve it. As a Staff/Principal Product Engineer – AI‑Native Builder you own the end‑to‑end solution, turning customer needs into production‑grade software using AI as your primary development tool.

Key responsibilities

• Define the problem, shape the approach, and orchestrate multiple AI agents in parallel, reviewing their output to deliver functional prototypes rapidly.
• Design, build, and ship reliable, production‑grade software while ensuring AI‑generated work meets security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Leverage existing platforms, components, and models, adding original innovation only where gaps exist.
• Establish AI‑native engineering patterns, prompts, evaluations, and guardrails that are reused across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering complex products end‑to‑end with visible impact.
• Strong full‑stack engineering fundamentals and sound architectural judgment.
• Integrator mindset: prefers proven building blocks and designs for cross‑team reuse.
• Fluency with modern AI tools and agents, capable of running several agents in parallel and composing them into pipelines.
• Ability to rigorously evaluate AI output and determine when it is reliable enough for production.
• Strong product intuition and comfort interacting directly with customers.
