About the role
Silicon Labs' IoT Validation Software team is looking for a full-stack software engineer to design, implement, test and support software tools that help automate the verification and validation of its IoT chips. The tools cover hardware, embedded, desktop object-oriented applications, web apps and database tools, and the position is based in the Budapest office.
Key responsibilities
- Support and develop scalable software infrastructure for automated verification of IoT MCU and wireless products
- Develop and troubleshoot code for user applications and utilities focused on IC validation
- Help verification, systems hardware and chip design engineers use the software tools
- Work with hardware, systems, IC design and marketing groups across different locations
- Build tools for test data analysis and presentation
- Develop and deliver training materials and demonstrations
- Evaluate, adopt and deploy new technologies, and communicate clearly to resolve issues
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Professional software development experience at various levels
- Interest in software that works with hardware products and collaboration across teams
Required skills
- Full-stack technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python and SQL
- Databases and SQL data manipulation
- Software build techniques and revision control tools
- Software testing methodologies
- Data reporting and visualization with Power BI
- AI-powered tools for productivity, analysis and decision-making
- Desirable: ANSI C, hardware programming, automated test environments, hardware debugging and lab equipment knowledge
