GL Senior Accountant

About the role

The GL Senior Accountant will lead accounting and tax operations for a new Hungarian legal entity within the Bosch Group. You will combine hands‑on ledger work with stakeholder coordination and participation in finance transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of General Ledger accounting, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial processes.
• Coordinate tax‑related activities, statutory reporting and liaise with auditors, Hungarian authorities and the Global Services organization.
• Act as GL Key User for SAP S/4HANA, supporting system testing, issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular forecasts, reports and financial information for management and controlling.
• Lead the preparation of annual financial statements and support external audits.
• Oversee bank‑related activities, reconciliations, GL checks and accounting controls.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Chartered Accountant qualification (HAS) and several years of senior GL or statutory accounting experience in small‑ to medium‑sized companies.
• Strong ability to work with management, auditors and international teams.
• Very good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience as a GL Key User in SAP S/4HANA.
