Client Engagement Specialist

About the role

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Client Engagement Specialist manages end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash processes for key customers, ensuring timely payments, issue resolution and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Perform collection activities, handle customer queries, reconcile accounts and support bad‑debt identification.
• Lead debtor review meetings, drive process improvements, contribute to governance, reporting and standardisation initiatives.
• Participate in finance system projects, support tool roll‑outs, testing and automation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Account Management and Customer Success to resolve issues and protect revenue.
• Support month‑end close, maintain compliance and uphold internal controls.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in AR/Order‑to‑Cash processes.
• College or university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (advantageous).
• Fluent English; additional European languages a plus.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management and resilience under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (reporting, reconciliation, data analysis).
• Knowledge of SAP B1 or Oracle NetSuite (preferred).
