CloudOps Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CloudOps Lead to own the operation, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of our cloud‑hosted software offerings. The role works across SaaS and hosted customer environments, partnering with Development, DevOps, Product Management, Security, and Customer Success teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operation of Azure and AWS environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, performance and availability.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for complex customer issues.
• Maintain cloud security posture, coordinate vulnerability management, and support compliance audits.
• Automate manual processes through Infrastructure as Code, self‑service tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
• Define observability strategy, monitor KPIs, drive reliability improvements and manage cloud cost optimisation.
• Support the operation and scaling of AI‑enabled cloud services and develop operational processes for new capabilities.

Required profile

• 5+ years operating cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or comparable platforms.
• Proven experience leading Cloud Operations, SRE, DevOps or platform engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customer‑facing teams.
• Experience managing production incidents and balancing technical debt with service reliability.
