Influencer Strategist
DEPT® · Skopje
Job description
About the role
DEPT is a growth-invention marketing and technology agency with offices in London and Budapest. Its influencer practice runs creator programmes for brands across EMEA, and it is hiring a senior Influencer Strategist to lead influencer thinking on client work. The role is based in the Budapest office, where the influencer team is growing.
Key responsibilities
- Lead influencer strategy on priority client accounts across EMEA, from interrogating the brief to the plan used by delivery teams.
- Bring creators in early so they can test and shape the brand's idea before production and media budget are committed.
- Plan creator work with the Paid Social, Social, SEO and GEO, and Creative teams so it is part of the integrated plan from day one.
- Support the growth strategist on pitches where influencer thinking decides the win, and feed learnings from live accounts into client propositions.
- Review strategy work across the three regions and coach the strategists in each hub so standards are consistent.
Required profile
- Seven or more years as a digital marketing strategist, preferably in an agency environment, with creator, creative and social work as a foundation.
- An influencer strategy that has won a pitch, grown an account or developed the business, with the thinking explained.
- Clear presentation to senior clients in professional-level English; German or Dutch is a plus.
- Deep interrogation of briefs, strong teamwork across cultures, and self-driven research, analysis and synthesis.
Required skills
- Knowledge of how creator content works with paid media, search and commerce, and planning for all three.
- Curiosity about how AI search and private channels affect where people find and trust brands.
What we offer
- Flexible hybrid working (2 days from the office, depending on location).
- Salary based on experience, pension, free private healthcare, mental health support and company sick pay.
- 26 days paid holiday plus UK Bank Holidays.
- Season ticket loan and cycle to work scheme, enhanced family-friendly policies.
- Learning and development, a Buddy programme, social and cultural events, and global Cares Month volunteering.
