International Payroll Analyst

About the role

Cloudera's Finance & Corporate Services team is looking for an Associate-level International Payroll Analyst to support the APAC region. The role covers accurate and timely processing of monthly payrolls and year-end reporting, while keeping compliance with SOX, internal policies, local tax regulations and other payroll laws. The position is listed as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Review payroll output reports for approval and compliance with company policies.
• Work with third-party payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to close out the monthly payroll process.
• Issue payroll payments to employees and statutory authorities within deadlines.
• Prepare payroll accounting and accrual entries for the finance system.
• Complete monthly payroll balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis and respond to accounting queries.
• Advise employees and stakeholders, prepare ad-hoc reports and work with internal and external auditors.
• Assist with payroll improvement projects.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced, multi-country payroll environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: previous experience partnering with an external payroll service provider.
• Proactive, professional, able to work independently and in a team, with strong communication and attention to detail.

Required skills

• MS Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of payroll accounting principles and best practices.
• NetSuite, Payslip and Workday are a plus.
