Key Account Manager – Consumer Electronics & Operator Channels

About the role

Huawei Consumer Business Group is seeking a result‑oriented Key Account Manager to drive growth of consumer electronics and operator channel sales in Hungary. You will build strategic partnerships with telecom operators and major retail/e‑commerce accounts, delivering cutting‑edge smart devices to the market.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, GTM and Retail teams to design and execute market‑specific business development strategies.
• Build, expand and maintain long‑term relationships with key partners such as telecom operators and retailers like Alza and MediaMarkt.
• Oversee the full sales lifecycle from presales engagement and product testing to tender management, order execution and fulfillment.
• Achieve annual revenue, sell‑in, sell‑out and profitability targets for the assigned portfolio.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity and consumer trends to provide accurate forecasts and activity reports.
• Partner with trade marketing and retail operations to optimise product visibility and promotional execution.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive sales or key account management experience in consumer electronics, telecom, retail, FMCG or e‑commerce.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
• Native or fluent Hungarian and excellent written and spoken English.
• High learning agility, resilience and a solution‑oriented mindset.
