Mid-Level Fullstack Software Engineer - Java, Angular

About the role

PTC, a global software company with nearly 7,000 employees, is looking for a mid-level fullstack software engineer to work on its Java-based web application in Budapest. The role is part of a virtual team using the Agile Scrum method, with hands-on impact from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software under Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
• Build features and fix bugs
• Create reusable code and contribute to the design of scalable software
• Work with the Product Owner, Support and QA teams
• Showcase developed features to the team and customers

Required profile

• 3 years of software development experience
• Ability to work in other software development roles at a basic level, such as business analysis, testing or documentation
• Goal-oriented mindset and strict logical thinking

Required skills

• JavaScript, TypeScript and the Angular framework (v14 and later)
• Java SE, Spring and Spring MVC
• SQL, JDBC and basics of Postgres and Oracle
• Git on GitHub, continuous integration and the MVC pattern
• An asset: Angular-tailored Redux architecture (NgRx) and web security protocols such as OAuth and OpenID Connect
