Senior Salesforce Developer

About the role

Galileo Global Education HUB, the Hungarian bureau of Galileo Global Education, provides IT services to its internal clients (schools, business units and support functions) in digital transformation and daily IT operations. It is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, code and implement Salesforce applications that serve pre-school and school experience initiatives, and to take part in integration and implementation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom applications with APEX, Lightning components, Visualforce, triggers, interfaces, workflows, connections and API security, supporting the specification phase for higher education business domains
• Design data models, write complex queries and ensure data integrity
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party services via REST and SOAP APIs
• Configure Salesforce settings, manage user roles and permissions, and set up workflows and validation rules (supporting the Business Analyst)
• Manage development environments and the deployment process up to production
• Act as first line for issues, debug code and support project partners in integration and production deployment

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce integration and deployment projects; Salesforce Developer certification is a plus
• Fluent English and Hungarian; French is a plus
• Familiarity with higher education systems and processes is a plus
• Agile methodology experience
• Autonomy, resilience, team spirit, and strong verbal and written communication skills
