Retail Vertical Customer Success Consultant

About the role

NielsenIQ is looking for a Retail Vertical Customer Success Consultant in Budapest. Within the Retail Vertical Customer Success team, you will build strategic customer relationships, understand customers' business challenges and drive value through retail measurement insights and consultative recommendations. The role helps retailer clients maximise business outcomes, increase satisfaction and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned retailer clients, acting as a trusted business partner
• Understand customers' business priorities, industry trends and strategic objectives
• Deliver retail measurement insights, analyses and recommendations that create measurable business value
• Drive customer engagement and adoption of NielsenIQ products, services and solutions
• Hold regular business reviews and insight presentations with customers
• Work with Sales, Operations and the Reporting Hub to meet customer needs
• Manage customer expectations, resolve issues promptly and monitor customer health to retain and grow accounts
• Keep up with retail industry developments and support customer decisions with market intelligence

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Strong understanding of the retail and T&D or FMCG industry
• Customer-centric mindset and ability to turn complex analyses into actionable recommendations
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, and advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Fluent spoken and written English and Hungarian

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
