Senior Manager - GMX Payroll Implementation

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is looking for a Senior Manager to join its Global Payroll Operations team, which supports clients' global payroll needs in 150+ countries. The role sits in the Global Reporting, Payments and Regulatory team, which delivers payroll reporting technology solutions such as DigiPay Cloud and PCC Global Reporting, and develops a standardized General Ledger (GL) solution alongside a customized offering. The position facilitates the implementation of global reporting, supports ongoing General Ledger delivery, coordinates internal teams, and acts as a subject matter expert in payroll regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of global reporting and BAU General Ledger delivery activities.
• Coordinate global reporting best practices and methodologies with internal teams (Client Operations, Tech Operations, Learning and Development).
• Support project management, take part in business development initiatives and run change management for process improvements.
• Gather and analyse payroll regulatory data from Country Payroll Processing teams, keeping them informed and providing data for the PKA global payroll chatbot and the Ebury PCubed payment solution.

Required profile

• 7+ years of payroll transformation, payroll operations and delivery experience.
• Multi-country payroll implementation experience (APAC, EMEA, ANZ, Africa).
• Payroll technology consulting and delivery experience.
• Optional: exposure to CIPP for one or more countries, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.

Required skills

• Payroll technology consulting and delivery, including SuccessFactors and Workday integrations, payroll solution architecture, data migration and systems integration.
• UAT, testing and production support, payroll operating model design, payroll modernization, automation and AI adoption.
• Advanced Excel, including macro development, and familiarity with G2N (gross to net) reports, pay codes and General Ledger.
• DigiPay proficiency.
• Project management, synthesis and organizational skills.
