Supply Chain Generalist – SIOP Data Steward

About the role

HARMAN Automotive is looking for a Regional Data Steward within its Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) organization, based in Budapest. The role ensures data accuracy and integrity across systems and processes, working with cross-functional teams so that high-quality data is correctly integrated into the SAP IBP system. It supports system integration improvements and the effective execution of SIOP activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor data quality in SAP IBP, removing duplicates, overlaps and unused data elements
• Work with IT teams to configure and integrate SAP IBP with source and target systems, and resolve system issues
• Manage master data update requests and coordinate updates under the data governance framework
• Document system usage and the origin of each integrated data element
• Identify process improvements in SIOP and work with demand planning and supply planning teams
• Monitor the CI-DS interface to analyse system performance and integration issues
• Stay up to date with SAP IBP integration technology and industry best practices

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain and operations planning
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a supply chain-related field
• Proven experience in data stewardship, data management or system administration, preferably in SIOP or supply chain
• Strong understanding of data management, data governance and IT systems in supply chain and SIOP
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and project management skills; detail-oriented and analytical
• Willingness to travel up to 5-10% domestically and to work in a hybrid office setting
