About the role

We are looking for a motivated software development engineer intern to join Bosch’s automotive perception team in Hungary. You will work on cutting‑edge driver assistance and perception algorithms, gaining hands‑on experience in both high‑level prototyping and low‑level embedded implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop perception and driver‑assistance functionalities.
• Prototype algorithms in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Migrate prototypes to C++ for real‑time experimentation.
• Design object‑oriented, embedded real‑time solutions.
• Contribute to environmental modeling, tracking and signal‑processing algorithms.
• Collaborate daily with international multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a university program (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, ML or related) with at least one year remaining, studying in Hungary.
• Strong mathematical foundation (linear algebra, trigonometry, discrete math).
• Hands‑on experience with C/C++ and Python.
• Experience in software testing and scripting.
• Analytical mindset, structured work approach and good English proficiency.
• Availability for 20 hours per week.
