Model-based software engineer for MEMS sensors

About the role

We are looking for a model-based software engineer to develop and maintain Simulink models of MEMS sensor signal chains. The position is based in our Mobility Electronics division in Budapest and works closely with internal R&D and automotive customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create Simulink models that describe the complete signal chain of MEMS sensors.
• Implement and test algorithms to verify model performance.
• Compile verified models into efficient low-level code.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide model updates.
• Maintain and support existing models, including peer reviews.
• Evaluate hardware measurement data for model validation.
• Develop deep knowledge of Bosch sensor signal chains.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• Proven experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Strong background in digital signal processing and system theory.
• Experience in object-oriented programming.
• Ability to work in an international, multidisciplinary team.
