QA Manager – Lead Quality Strategy for AI‑Native Insurance Platform

About the role

Lead and shape the QA function at CoverGo, an AI‑native, no‑code insurance platform serving global insurers. You will own the quality strategy for a fast‑growing product suite, working remotely with a diverse, global team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full oversight of the testing lifecycle across multiple teams, defining and enforcing QA processes, tools, environments and test coverage organization‑wide.
• Establish and continuously refine QA standards, ensuring scalable test infrastructure and extending capabilities into performance, security and compliance testing.
• Identify systemic quality gaps, run trend analysis on metrics and deliver executive‑level insights, reports and dashboards to senior leadership.
• Manage and mentor QA Leads and senior engineers, set goals, conduct performance reviews and foster a culture of ownership and excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and business analysts to shape requirements, testing strategies and defect triage across subsystems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of software QA experience, including at least 2 years managing QA Leads or a multi‑team QA function.
• Proven track record establishing organization‑wide QA processes, tooling and standards.
• Experience in a regulated, complex industry such as insurance is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of testing methodologies, BDD and Gherkin.
• Hands‑on experience with JavaScript and .NET testing tools: Jest, Mocha, JMeter, Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer, NUnit, Cucumber, Telerik, Specflow.
• Proficiency in integrating test suites with CI pipelines.
• Experience with performance, security and compliance testing.
• Practical experience building AI‑powered testing processes.
