Software Engineer Intern (Full stack)

About the role

Formlabs is looking for a motivated software engineering intern to join the FormNow team in Budapest. You will work on a greenfield product that will transform how manufacturing and prototyping services are accessed, gaining hands‑on experience with both backend and frontend development. This internship offers the chance to contribute to a zero‑to‑one product while collaborating in a multicultural, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Python (Django), Typescript and Node.js.
• Build frontend features with React and Redux.
• Contribute to scaling infrastructure on AWS, GCP, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deliver end‑to‑end features including design, implementation and testing.
• Write maintainable, well‑tested code and set up CI pipelines.
• Work in a product‑focused agile environment.

Required profile

• Active student status at a Hungarian university or college.
• Interest in creating a world‑class web‑based contract manufacturing experience.
• Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural team.
• Some experience with full‑stack web and infrastructure development and a strong willingness to learn.
