German Speaking Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a German‑speaking Team Leader to manage a group of Technical Support Specialists in Budapest, supporting a major Swiss telecommunications client. The role combines people leadership, performance coaching and operational excellence to deliver high‑quality customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Technical Support Specialists, fostering engagement and motivation.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, provide feedback, recognise achievements and support performance and development goals.
• Own operational performance, monitor KPIs, identify trends and implement actions to improve customer experience and business results.
• Assist onboarding of new colleagues, partner with trainers and technical experts to build confidence.
• Represent the operation in client meetings, communicate updates and build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in processes, ways of working and employee experience.

Required profile

• C1‑level German and at least B‑level English for internal communication.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams in customer service, technical support or similar operational environments.
• Comfortable analysing KPIs, spotting opportunities and coaching individuals toward better performance.
• Confident communicator with senior stakeholders and clients, adapting style to different audiences.
• Customer‑focused mindset, understanding and inspiring delivery of excellent experiences.
• Coach and mentor attitude, providing regular feedback and development conversations.
• Calm problem‑solver who takes ownership and makes sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
