German‑Speaking B2B Technical Support Specialist – Budapest

About the role

This position provides German‑language B2B technical support for a major Swiss telecommunications client. You will handle inbound calls, resolve IT‑related issues, and later be trained to identify upsell opportunities through a Care‑to‑Sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from Swiss customers regarding network, mobility and hardware problems.
• Follow up on open cases to ensure customers receive the required solution.
• Collaborate with expert teams when additional support is needed.
• Meet performance KPIs such as Customer Satisfaction, First Contact Resolution and Call Quality.
• Assist and mentor new colleagues during their onboarding period.
• Contribute improvement ideas for internal tools and knowledge bases.
• After probation, participate in Care‑to‑Sales activities to suggest product upgrades or extensions.

Required profile

• C1‑level German for daily work and at least B‑level English for internal communication.
• Previous experience in customer service or IT support, with a strong customer‑oriented mindset.
• High empathy and patience when dealing with upset customers.
• Willingness to learn new modules and adapt to a start‑up, fast‑changing environment.
• Team‑player attitude, ready to share knowledge and support colleagues.
