I2P Business Partner (Invoice to Pay)

About the role

Syngenta Group is looking for an Invoice to Pay (I2P) Business Partner in Budapest. You will ensure seamless I2P service delivery for the country and provide an improved experience for end users of the process, including finance and non-finance functions, vendors and I2P teams. This is a 2-year fixed-term maternity cover contract.

Key responsibilities

• Compliance: make sure Standard Operating Procedures are followed and aligned with legal and regulatory requirements, regularly review and update country BOPs, eliminate process exceptions and implement corrective actions
• KPIs: develop and run initiatives to improve KPI outcomes such as process optimization and error reduction, train and support I2P teams, and review and analyze process KPIs with end users
• Stakeholder management: engage stakeholders to understand their needs, keep communication transparent and maintain feedback mechanisms
• Knowledge development: maintain an accessible knowledge base, organize training and knowledge-sharing sessions, and coach team members
• Continuous improvement: work with Business Finance and requesters to shorten cycle times and reduce blockers, explore cost optimization ideas, and support strategic I2P and License to Operate projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in finance operations (shared services) focused on Invoice to Pay or Purchase to Pay
• Advanced English, with Italian or German a plus
• Ability to manage change, implement new procedures and re-engineer processes, and work independently with minimal supervision

Required skills

• SAP ECC / S4 HANA
• Invoice automation tools such as VIM preferred
