Bar Server – Luxury Hotel Bar

About the role

The Bar Server delivers an exceptional guest experience at Múzsa, the lobby bar of Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, an Art Nouveau palace on the Danube. The role combines hospitality with strong beverage and service expertise in a dynamic, luxury bar environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver warm, engaging, polished service in line with Four Seasons standards, making every guest feel welcomed and valued
• Show strong knowledge of the beverage program (wines, cocktails, beers, spirits) and guide guests through the menu with confidence
• Take and serve orders accurately, with attention to detail and timing in a fast-paced setting
• Support team operations: complete side work, assist colleagues and step in to greet or seat guests when needed
• Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively
• Use the MICROS system for order entry, billing and payment processing
• Handle guest checks, close bills, process payments and manage adjustments in line with hotel procedures

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a high-end bar or restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with a focus on cocktails, wines and beer preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Passion for hospitality, with a warm, engaging and personable approach to guests
• Professionalism, integrity, accountability, confident decision-making and a collaborative, supportive attitude
• Current work authorization in Hungary or an EU passport
