Bar Supervisor

About the role

The Bar Supervisor at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest ensures the bar runs smoothly, efficiently and consistently while delivering an exceptional guest experience. The role combines hands-on service excellence with day-to-day supervision, supporting both the bar team and management in upholding Four Seasons standards of quality, professionalism and genuine hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily bar operations so every guest receives service aligned with Four Seasons standards
• Lead by example on the floor, delivering outstanding beverage service and anticipating guest needs
• Support and execute the beverage program through product knowledge, portion control, cost awareness and creative input
• Assist with inventory management, monthly stock counts and correct par levels
• Coordinate service flow with Culinary, Stewarding and Restaurant leadership
• Train, coach and support bartenders through on-the-job guidance and structured sessions
• Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, mise en place and readiness of bar areas before, during and after service

Required profile

• Previous experience as a bartender or bar supervisor in a hotel, fine-dining or high-end bar environment
• Natural leadership presence able to guide, support and motivate a team
• Excellent guest interaction skills and a genuine passion for personalized service
• High attention to detail, cost awareness and composure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility, professionalism and impeccable grooming and hygiene standards
• Current work authorization in Hungary or an EU passport

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wines, bar operations and service procedures
• POS systems and accurate cash handling
