Staff Dining Floor Coordinator

About the role

The Staff Dining Floor Coordinator ensures the smooth running of canteen front-of-house activities at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, working with the kitchen and stewarding teams. The role keeps buffets, salad bars and fridges stocked, maintains the cleanliness and organisation of the serving area, manages equipment and keeps the canteen to health and safety standards, so cooks can focus on cooking and stewards on cleaning.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and refill buffet stations and salad bars with fresh items, kept attractive and at safe temperatures
• Check and maintain the coffee machine and other kitchen equipment, report faults to the canteen chef and keep equipment clean
• Monitor fridge inventory and assist with stock rotation so products are used before their best-before dates
• Keep serving areas tidy, wipe surfaces and empty trash bins regularly
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of food
• Provide friendly, efficient service to staff and reflect Four Seasons standards of professionalism

Required profile

• Current work authorization in Hungary or an EU passport
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently, as part of a team, and flexibly on weekdays, weekends and holidays
• Positive personality and good interpersonal skills, ability to maintain personal cleanliness
• Able to lift up to 25 kg at times

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
