HW Validation Engineer (Budapest)

About the role

Join Bosch's Engineering Centre in Budapest as a Hardware Validation Engineer. You will contribute to the development of cutting‑edge automotive mobility solutions by ensuring the reliability and performance of hardware components throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead validation projects from preparation (capacity calculation, test‑plan alignment, test‑system setup) to measurement execution and detailed reporting.
• Plan, execute, supervise and document aging, electrical and mechanical tests.
• Analyse test failures, identify root causes and collaborate with HW designers, mechanical engineers and project managers.
• Manage daily validation topics, open issues and represent validation matters in international teams.
• Support continuous improvement of validation processes and coordinate cross‑functional activities.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, communication tools and frequency generators.
• Allocate roughly 80 % of time to office/laboratory work with a home‑office option for documentation and firmware‑related tasks.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Proven experience in hardware lifetime validation activities.
• Strong analytical and systematic problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English proficiency.
